Fair for All /Power of Voices Project

This project is focused on strengthening and supporting CSOs that can create space, generate insights and mobilise stakeholders to achieve structural and transformative changes to South Africa’s economic model and legislative frameworks to end gendered inequalities and contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive mining sector that delivers wealth and benefits equally for all. This includes interventions that advocate and demand the South African government put more effort into reforming, diversifying, and ensuring equality and equity in the mining sector.

The desired impact of the project is to achieve economic transformation and systemic change in the mining sector through strategic partnerships with civil society organisations for joint efforts to play diverse roles; as educators, mobilisers, creators, and watchdogs in critical areas of the mineral sector, which will enable global value chains to serve people and planet before profit.
