The project is a five-year program spanning 2021 to 2025. The aim is to contribute to a responsible global gold value chain, where artisanal and small-scale gold miners, including women miners, are recognised and work under legal and safe conditions, with inclusive decision and policy making, and where biodiversity is protected. The analysis will look at the state of domestication of the AMV in Ghana, Kenya and Uganda looking at the ASM as a key sub-sector.
