Community Mobilization in Zambia – February 2025

Between February 16-26, 2025, we led a series of grassroots outreach meetings across Zambia’s Central, Copperbelt, and Northwestern provinces.

These efforts resulted in:

• Commitments from key social movement sectors including mining unions, traditional leaders, and faith-based organizations voicing concerns against irresponsible mining.
• Youth-led advocacy initiatives, with university students pledging to amplify PAMOJA’s message.
• Several strategic dialogues with government officials and local leaders on the mission of the Pamoja platform.
